Paul in Philippi | A Cartoonist's Guide to Acts 16:11-40
This is a visual meditation on Acts 16:10-40. The Apostle Paul, Silas, Timothy, and Luke travel to the Roman Colony of Philippi. This is Paul's first venture into Roman territory. They encounter Lydia, a slave-girl, slave owners, magistrates, and a jailer. The Gospel is received in many ways. Some welcome it openly, others abuse the messengers. In all cases, Paul and Silas demonstrate what it looks like to trust in the one true king.
